For those of you who are unaware of who CLIA is, the icon to your left explains it all. The Travel DR'S recently attended a seminar to learn new and exciting ways to save our clientts money on cruising. This morning we took that information and passed it along to each of you via e-mail . The Travel DR'S would like to take this time to applaud Aladdin's Magic Carpet Cleaning on their 4th year in business and their recent expansion into the Marshall Texas area where Laura Kinterknecht will be acting Manager.We all love the story of Aladdin, but here is The Travel DR'S new revision:
Once upon a time some 4 year ago in a small town in Leesville, LA., Les & Shelly Burns purchased a carpet cleaning business and named it "Aladdin's Magic Carpet Cleaning." Soon after opening, Aladdin's Magic Carpet Cleaning became members of their Chamber of Commerce and were cleaning carpets in such locations as Fort Polk Military Base and Chapperal Apartments. Through out the years this family owned and operated business has grown to be such a profitable business in Leesvile that expansion became Les & Shelly Burns next logical step.
The moral to this story is: Aladdin's Magic Carpet Cleaning "Cleans carpets like magic"!

Talk about some creative travel, The Travel DR'S just finished booking a halloween holiday package. These clients every year, attend a Halloween bash. This year it will be held in San Antonio, Texas they will be staying in a a Historic Hotel that is converted into a Haunted Holloween Hotel. Seeing as they have yet to lose in the costume division the prize money pays for their trip. Keep watching (if you dare) The Travel DR'S blog as we will be posting pictures of this event!

It was so nice to chat with so many of you that attended the "Wedding Extravaganza" Bridal Show on September 15, 2007. The Travel DR'S booth welcomed Bride's, Grooms, family and friends. Dawn Barnes, Owner of The Travel DR'S along with Stephanie Barnes, Travel Assistant enjoyed hearing about all the Destination Weddings to such places as Jamaica and Cayman Islands along with honeymoons to Australia, Tahiti, and the most famous Sandals Resort. By the way, for any of you who did not get a Sandals brochure they are available on The Travel DR'S website at: www.thetraveldrs.com, for those of you that missed the Joplin "Wedding Extravaganza" there are no more in 2007 but there will be two different shows in January (1) in Springfield and the other in Joplin. Fall is finally in the air, this means crisp air and amazing colors, beautiful colors! What could be a more perfect getway than a vacation to Branson Missouri or a tour of the East Coast during this magical time?
