The Travel DRS receive vast amount of picture from their clients (and we thank you) . The Travel DRS saw these pictures and knew we had to share these on our Blog!
If you are discussing a trip to Antartica these pictures should assit you in the decision process. The pictures you are about to see are all Icebergs.
Icebergs in the Antarctic area sometimes have stripes, formed by
layers of snow that react to different conditions.
Blue stripes are often created when a crevice in the ice sheet?
fills up with meltwater and freezes so quickly that no bubbles form.
When an iceberg falls into the sea, a layer of salty seawater can
freeze to the underside. If this is rich in algae, it can form a
green stripe.
Brown, black and yellow lines are caused by sediment, picked up
when the ice sheet grinds downhill towards the sea.Please enjoy!

An Important Message from The Travel DRS
The Travel DRS new bad word "AIRFARE" ! Now The Travel DRS realize that airlines are stuggling just like the rest of us with the price of fuel and we the consumer are feeling that affect with the rising price in airfare.
To compensate for the soaring fuel prices the airlines, in an attempt to keep airfare from going up any further and throwing themselves in bankruptcy are scrambling to merge with other carriers, charging fuel surcharges, adding fees for additional pieces of luggage ( Contact The Travel DRS for updates) and decommissioning planes to insure all flights are flying at their fullest capacity.
With all this, The Travel DRS want to STRESS the absolute importance of arriving for your flight EARLY. The airlines WILL give your seats away!!! If the Airlines state for you to arrive 1.5 hours to 2 hours early BE THERE.
The days of blowing off the early arrival and getting on your plane are gone. The last thing The Travel DRS want is a phone call from one of their clients indicating they have an e-ticket but no seat because once your seat(s) are reassigned by the carrier your $$$ is gone and we WILL have to rebook another flight if available.
